Good quality product easy to fit, bought to replace a discontinued Armitage Shanks would recommend
Used this as a direct replacement for a HEP2o service valve that leaked after operating.
Was faulty when fitted and didn't have another in stock so ordinary trusty iso valve fitted won't be buying or trying one of these
Great item perfect for the job, fitted in a matter of minutes
I’m no plumber but what I got certainly done the job. No leaks quick and easy to install and saved me buying two individual items all at a great price.
Bought in error. The pushfit system may work well but removing to carry out repair work with these fittings is terrible. You need to putchase the removal tool which are only cheep but sometimes you can not get the tool in such as this fitting to a 15mm to 10mm reducer so have to replace both.
Quality item at a fair price. Staff friendly on collection
Replaced an old valve which was starting to leak. Exactly the same size as the old valve that connects to the toilet water supply. Easy to fit. Pushed straight on to the 15mm copper pipe cold water supply, and screwed in to the bottom of the toilet fill valve.
The pipe end in the fitting does not fit inside the male bsp thread so the cone gasket cannot tighten resulting in leaks. Didn’t realise it wasn’t a flat gasket like most other thread connectors. Shame as it would be a great fitting for a concealed cistern. Trimmed the fitting and and used like a normal flat gasket; so still works but not worth the faff.
Plastic shafts on toilet inlet valves are definitely not as good as they were years ago. Trying to get a seal onto a metal isolating valve is very difficult. I’ve started using these isolating valves, you might have to cut some pipe as these valves are longer than normal. But they are very easy to fix to copper pipes and the plastic to plastic fitting on the other end is brilliant, hand tightening and just nip up. Don’t forget to buy the de mounting kit. Well worth the price.
Bought a back to back toilet from B and Q which had a concealed cistern. On the fittings provided a plastic isolation valve was provided with a plastic nut at one end and a brass nut and olive to fit onto the cold water supply. The connection with the brass nut onto the supply kept leaking. I tried PTFE but it didn't work and eventually the tightening of the brass nut damaged the plastic thread on the valve. I bought this one. The plastic nut at one end fitted perfectly onto the plastic threaded cistern fitting. The Hep20 pushfit fitting sat well on the inlet pipe with just a quarter turn to tighten. No leaks and works perfectly. I cannot see that the brass nut on the original valve was ever going to fit tight enough on to plastic thread to make the olive do it's job.
This was an excellent substitute, much better than the original.
looks a good fitting when under the Loo a better fitting than brass they dont leak
Bought this to replace broken brass valve. It was so easy to fit and so much easier to use
