Good strong hinge, looks well made, holds a heavy wood gate well.
Not impressed ,it doesn’t come with fixings . And nothing to say it needs to be fixed to a post of at least 7cm in width.
Useful being able to have a sturdy hinge that can't be lifted off. Holds a heavy steel gate with no issues
Strong hinges but due to poor positioning of the pins, the back of the hinges press into the post when you open the gate. As another reviewer noted, chiseling out a few mm deep notch behind each hinge stops it catching when the gate is opened. Otherwise they seem strong.
Good quality hinge and heavy, and great price, just a shame the fixings are not included.
Had to send first one back as hinges were bent out of true. No problem with replacement that toolstation supplied the next day.
