Pushdown tool worked well for home network use. Cut off excess cable with ease. Good value for money.

I purchased this to add a slave socket to my master phone socket. Does the job well but feels a little cheap

Only used for rewiring one socket that a "professional" installer had entirely mucked up, but the hook tool made light work of pulling the wires out and the punch work well for inserting the wires into the connectors.
Not sure how well this would stand up to heavy use, but it works well and has all the features needed for wiring a few home networks.
This is a fairly priced tool and you will easily get plenty of use of it, though describing it as heavy duty is probably unfair - though it is a world away from the single piece of plastic ones you generally get thrown in with an extension kit.
Really easy to use and made what is a tricky job and absolute piece of cake.

It’s okay. I don’t think the word heavy duty really describes it correctly. Its size can also mean that on the module I was working on, it didn’t quite fit due to the location of one of the lugs on the module. Generally though it was okay.
Decent punch down. Not a heavy duty one like a krone brand. Click stayed getting a bit weak after the second panel but still cut the cable and worked ok.
Suitable for telephone cable. Low current wire and 0.5mm diameter without the need to remove the insulation before connecting with the punch down tool. No other tools required.
Good item, does what it needs to do, good price point would buy another one if needed.

I wouldn’t say this works first time every time, and the snip function appears almost useless so I need wire cutters too.
I wasn't expecting much for the price, but I did expect it to do a basic job.
Within 2 hours, the screws were popping out. An hour later and the screws had flown out, hit me in the face and the punch down part had stopped working (along with the snips).
I had to resort to using the folder out punch down tool for the other 40 cat6 cables, this lasted about an hour before the metal tool broken through the plastic.
It's entirely unable to achieve even it's most basic role, to punch down cables.
Do yourself a favour, buy a regular plastic punch down tool if it's a last resort, or find a better tool somewhere else because there is no way this thin hollow plastic tool can be classed as "heavy duty".
Good quality tool, robust and works well.
I like the pull out screwdriver too, saves having a separate tool in your hand to open up the socket.
