The item is plywood rather than actual wood, which is disappointing. Also, I didnt receive the promised email telling me that the item was in stock, despite receiving the initial email stating that the order had been placed.

It is only ash effect not solid ash but is study enough. Screw covers aren't the same colour as the wood
The wood backing is pretty awful composite with no veneer on the sides and a thick clear plastic finish, returned.
