Great Value, a well made axe, good weight and less shock through the handle than my old wooden one
Great quality at a brilliant price. My pesky kindling doesn’t stand a chance now .
Initially bought the 8lb version, got on well with that, so thought I'd try this out as well. This is the second axe I have bought, so don't have much to compare it to, but works well for when splitting medium to small logs and making kindle. 😊
Bought this based on reviews, for splitting kindling! I’ve had sharper butter knives! To split soft wood with it requires assistance with a lump hammer on the axe head!
It chops kindle for the fire. It’s cheap. Won’t cut a tree down 😂
Nice and light and very sharp. Excellent price. Good value.
I bought this item a couple of weeks ago & it,s proved it,s worth since
The ideal tool for the job I need to do.
Light and easy to handle but sharp enough for the job in hand.
For the price you can't really complain but it certainly needs a sharpen, the blade is a little to thick to cut safely and you do get alot of bounce rather than cut for your effort. Only cutting kindling so shouldn't need a lot of effort.
Managed to go straight through the bone on my left index finger and half way through the middle one. Currently writing this with some down time in the ER.
Very blunt on purchase. Needed sharpening before use and got blunt again very quickly.
Does the job well. Nice ergonomic handle, isn't sharp when bought so need to sharpen once you purchase.
Good value for money, I have worked this axe hard recently and very pleased with the quality .😁
Quality for the price good make
Always cheaper than BQ
Hawksmoor Hand Axe 1.5lb, Good basic hand axe, does what it should chopping axe.
Strong axe. Great value. Does what it says one the tin!
Good solid axe for the price. Only used for a week but sharp, will see how it keeps the edge.
Excellent tool does the job. The price was good too.
Very good for the price, decent quality and fairly hefty compared to another similar axe that I purchased from eBay. Seems fairly sharp and it's ideal for doing chicken carcass which is what I use it for.
Most of my garden tools are Hawksmoor so I decided to give it a try to the axe. Good value for money, works well when you know how to use an axe ;)
