The Hawksmoor Pole Trimmer is a good affordable l tool but ieven with the supplied strap it is cumbersome to use. Also the safety release on the trigger is positioned for right handed users and awkward for lefties. Overall the trimmer cuts well and setting the cutting angle is easy
Good powerful machine that cuts through quite thick twigs. You will need to use the harness if you are working at full extension as it is quite heavy.
Had to return first one as started smoking after about 1 hours light use then cut out . See how long this replacement one lasts. Been 3 days light use, so far so good.
Did the job but top heavy and hard to control when extended. Also a bit underpowered on thick growth. Bought as cheapest around so can't complain!
Excellent customer service when purchasing my hedge trimmer quality is excellent and performance of product is great it does what it's supposed to do no problem very happy with my purchase
Easy to assemble. Very easy to use. Neck strap makes it even easier. Goes the the hedges easily. Leaves a nice neat hedge.
Generally a good product. Had trouble connecting the cutter head initially, but, sorted that and got on with the job.
Bought it to do the tops of "The Beast", my 100m x 2m hawthorn hedge (I'll stick with my cordless B&D for the sides). It did the job, but wasn't as easy to handle as the Aldi pole chainsaw I have, and I realise that's because it doesn't have a D-handle.
Good piece of equipment, plenty of settings for angling the cutter to required position. I also used it for cutting plants just above ground level so will be a useful tool for me with lack of mobility at the end of growing season.
Excellent product used on Saturday disturbed a wasp nest, got stung, so the £100 voucher would be useful for protecting against wadps
