Chainsaw was as expected for a cheap disposable tool. Sadly my experience wads not good as when handed a voucher I went back to redeem it only to find the wording was wrong as they had printed 2different amounts so returned to find it worthless.
Bought this chainsaw to cut up some logs from trees that we had removed from the garden. The chainsaw was easy to assemble with clear instructions and video guides if needed, just remember to get chain oil and 2 stroke oil when to get the saw as none are supplied.
The chainsaw performed brilliantly not a single issue, just don’t over work it as it is only 53cc. I cut through logs that were at least 12” diameter with no problem, I wouldn’t run it for long periods of time as this may damage the engine, as stated in the operating manual.
I bought this chainsaw to replace a broken one.
It works like a dream. Easy start and works well.
I would definitely buy one again.
Hopefully I won't have to for a long time.
It's got the power and what a Saw, for a cheep end Chainsaw it certainly has the guts, I had an issue with the brake on one burning out but for the money it has certainly earned its keep, highly recommend.
This cut through 3 large trees like butter, much better than my old one. The chain is starting to wear now. Easy to assemble, adjust and service
Works well, but won’t last, the chain tensioner screw sits in a plastic housing that already shows signs of wear/failure after one decent day of use. Replacement part costs £40 on a £140 purchase. This is planned obsolescence
Bought this chainsaw are free researching a few for use on our allotment. Really easy to put together with the instruction video. Only used it once so far but it did everything asked of it. Easy to start runs really well. Great product. If you buy this please remember you need chainsaw oil too, as the saw is dry packed. It doesn’t tell you that on the box or in the assembly instructions.
I only bought this for DIY which it’s perfect for, it wouldn’t be good enough for a professional tree surgeon but at this price you wouldn’t expect it to be.
Value for money is 10/10
Good value, robust Chainsaw, easy assembly.easy starting hot or cold.
Good value for money tough machine for slight bigger jobs
excellent Value and a great little robust chainsaw
Brilliant piece of kit, quite easy to set up & start up. Powerful but doesn’t feel scary even for a beginner. Definitely recommend, not as pricey as other brands & does exactly same job.
Bought this to cut up a tree that had blown over at the farm , didn’t want to spend a fortune on a more popular brand saw so decided to take a chance with this and I didn’t disappoint made light work of the 50ft tree approx 18inch diameter blade still seems as sharp as it did out the box would recommend
Really good chainsaw, we had a 50 foot sweet chestnut tree fall in our garden, the chainsaw tackled it brilliantly.
Brilliant bit of kit easy to start and it’s not too heavy
Cheap saw, ok for a bit of garden clearance at the weekend. Obviously doesn't compare to Stihl or Husqvarna of similar size hence the low price. Needed it for clearing a few tree stumps and roots so didn't mind it getting in the soil and the odd stone. What some might call a disposable tool, use once or twice then replace or bin. Easy to assemble and start. The fuel mixing bottle that comes with it leaks a bit from the cap and doesn't pour nicely into the fuel tank so be cautious. Air filter is easy to remove and clean but does seem to leak dust around it in to the carb.
Needed a larger saw for a big Silverbirch.
Thought I would give Hawksmoor a try.
Assembly was straight forward. Chain guard is thin plastic needs to be bent to fit in the box so broke on the seam.
General appearance and weight is quality standard. Followed instructions for starting needed extra priming but started no problem. Setting chain lube, adjuster took a bit of finding.
But what a saw impressive power with chips flowing out.
Exhaust inside glows red hot and burns the wood, stoped to fit wedge front end on fire.
Economy 30 cuts in average diameter of 28/30inch took one of the supplied measuring bottle.
At the moment well impressed and would recommend. Be careful this is a powerful machine.
Easy to use good quality bit the blade dulls quite quickly.
The product is very good and easy to use with plenty of instructions
