Not that impressed to be honest. The chain does get stuck quite regularly for no apparent reason, requiring fiddling about to free it up. Once it's going it seems to work okay.
Looks good on the website, easy to put together. Unfortunately couldn’t get it started so returned.
Great value, bought to remove 1 huge tree and was the same price as hiring one. Ran all day and dropped the tree and cut it up for firewood. Still working fine.
For the cost it’s been a fantastic buy, I like the simplicity of this tool & it’s easy to start
availability as advertised, chainsaw performed as expected from a much more expensive machine. It put my Stihl to shame
It would not start in hit weather so I returned it which is a shame as it is a lot of chainsaw for the money.
Great value for money, works perfectly well, from large conifers to pruning large Sycamore trees, very impressed
Good value , good performance , good on fuel , good balance to hold and starts really well easy to get new chain from Toolstation
Great saw ideal for garden trees and logging easy to put together and use .
Awful product.Took it back after 24 hours and toolstation didn’t want anything to do with it because it had petrol in it.Called hawks moor who were calling me back.Three days later nothing.I won’t buy a hawksmoor product again or use toolstation
Useless cannot even cut a small branch. Should be removed from market.
Easy to follow instructions to assemble, started and run as it should, would recommend reading instruction for use and use chain oil to lubricate chain. Works well plenty of power to cut through thickest branches, good value for money.
We used this to cut down several trees that were hindering putting in a new fence. It handled trunks that were at least 30cms wide. It replaced a weak battery powered chainsaw we had that wouldn't even make a mark on the branches. Some assembly required, so it's not quite a tool in a box to go.
Very impressed for the price, quality and performance.
Used it for major tree pruning, very effective machine.
Cracking little chainsaw. I use it to cut up logs for my log burner, I'm new to chainsaws so wasn't sure if it would be powerful enough. But it's more than adequate for my needs, just takes a few seconds longer on a big cut than a more powerful saw, which makes no difference to me. Starts and runs great also. Just be sure to follow the instructions, turns out 2 strokes, are quite particular about how they are started.
Bought this chainsaw which was faulty returned it (after a lot of problems contacting suppliers) and was given a new replacement that was also faulty two new saws both faulty contacting Hawksmoor is a nightmare I would keep clear of these chainsaw
Product is okay for the occasional use, not suitable for frequent use. Chain was blunt after removing one tree and needed replacing. It’s for beginners or one-off use.
I have gone through 2 chains which only lasted 15mins each. Followed instructions to the letter and chain gets twisted and doesn't run freely in the rail.
Easy to put together and looks good quality for the price. It is easy to start and the carb is preset up so needed no mixture adjustment. The chain oiler works well and I have used 4 tankfulls of fuel without having to sharpen the blade.
Design is slightly imperfect: the chain comes off easily; plastic flywheel cover breaks in accordance with the gentle tightening of the nuts.
