I returned this product as, sadly, it wasn't powerful enough for my large garden, so i purchased another electric one.
Amazing value for money, powerful piece of kit, tidied the garden up in no time. Easy to change from blower to vacuum, batteries lasted for duration of work I was undertaking. Never had a Hawksmoor product before but would consider other tools in the future.
This is my second purchase of a Hawksmoor product and although it's early days I'm happy with the quality and performance of this garden vac / blower.
I previously had a well known brand of mains powered garden vac and dragging the mains lead around the garden was a real pain.
The Hawksmoor garden vac is so much more convenient and easy to use.
This is a handy piece of kit. It is easy to swap the attchents and works well. It might be worth 4 stars but have only used it for two fairly short sessions and I don’t yet have a feel for the battery life.
I reconnected the blower and it wouldn’t work, it turns out the bottom flap that moves for the sucker attachment needs to be full locked as a safety precaution otherwise it won’t work and will cause much angst.
I have a few hawksmoor cordless items and I like the interchangeable battery packs.
Bought this to replace old corded vacuum. On plus side it does have sufficient power to vacuum up garden leaves and pulled weeds etc. Battery life of around 40 mins was adequate for my needs. The reason I gave it only 3 stars is that it is quite heavy to lug around, Also the on/off switch is at the bottom of the handle which means changing your grip to turn it off and on. The bag is flimsy and does not look as if it would last too long without emptying before it gets full. Haven't used it as a blower yet but the fact that you have to partially disassemble and then reassemble seems a pain to me.
Powerful and a breeze to use (excuse the pun!!!!) Blows and sucks with ease
Seems a well built powerful blower, just having some difficulty trying to source a spare couple of batteries to have charging whilst the original 2 are in use given the large garden area I have to cover (hence not 4 stars not 5). I would however recommend it as a value for money piece of kit.
plenty of power from dual batteries. did two 10m square gardens and it still has two of the three lights showing on the battery check. putting it together was easy---ish, the two parts of the vacuum pipe are a very very tight fit so, make sure you have the lugs lined up or it takes some effort to separate them again. why fours stars? the collection bag is a bit cheap and nasty but I should have rated it three stars for the fact that having contacted core services there are no spare batteries to purchase at this time? for a range of cordless garden tools you would expect this crucial item to be available, most of us have cordless tools and have a spare battery to hand if the other runs out so that you can carry on working. Not impressed with that at all. Apart from that, not a bad bit of kit!
