Bit of trouble fitting it together, but that was probably my fault.
Have been impressed with it's performance, especially picking up leaves.
Have also used it to keep my wife's grave neat and tidy.
Nice and lightweight, batteries last a reasonable amount of time.
Excellent! We have a large rear garden, and what took 20 minutes with my old electric mower, having to move the cable out of the way etc.. this only takes me now 10 minutes tops! Brilliant. No issues with the handle size as some people say. Highly Recommended.
My Bosch lawnmower battery eventually only lasted for half the lawn so I bought this Hawksmoor. The handle is too long (I’m 5’8). It’s awkward to manoeuvre. And after 2 months one of the front wheels fell off rendering it useless.
I was sceptical about the longevity of these batteries but they've cut about 50 sq meters of rough grass that was 8 - 10 inches long and wet in one charge, it did feel like the batteries were on there last dregs as I finished but they've done the job admirably. Seems a fairly powerful and robust machine for the money.
Im on my second mower now sent the 1st one back due to bent front wheels, TS kindly replaced it with a 2nd one …. With bent rear wheels !
Used it once so far no problems yet quite good for now.
When I was selecting my first battery-powered lawnmower I considered diameter, battery life, charge time. I did not consider much about the ergonomics of the actual design.
This machine went straight back the the shop. The handle is just far too high even on the lowest option. It literally is designed if you look to curve upwards at the end. This may be reasonable in a small lawnmower, but this is not a small mower and the result is you are pushing at chest height instead of a much more comfortable hip or belly height. Think about a supermarket trolley. That's the handle height you want. Not this.
The second massive ergonomic flaw is that to insert the batteries in the mower, you have to work against gravity. You need to lift a flap with one hand, which is on a spring and doing its best to close on you, while with your free hand you try to shove the batteries uphill and force them to click into position. This is not easy.
I instead paid £50 more for an Einhart which has neither of these silly design flaws, and additionally has a solid, rather than a netted, grass collector. And then I actually mowed my lawn.
Excellent lawnmower, battery life seems good getting two cuts out of one charge on medium size lawn. Definitely recommend
First cut on 25mm seems a little longer than previous Bosch but overall happy. The cordless convenience is very welcomed!
Used it twice now and am very impressed with the mower, battery life is still showing greater than 75%.
Excellent cordless lawnmower, easy to manoeuvre and operate with a great wide range of cutting heights. The two batteries supplied are effortless to charge and on a full charge are capable to cutting a significant area of grass. The mower is sturdy and I feel confident that it will continue to be so for a long time to come.
Having used this just once I've been really impressed time will. Only problem I had on purchase was I paid cash and the guy serving me at Huddersfield didn't have a clue how to count the money but that today's society
Purchased the hawksmoor 36v after forever battling with petrol mowers needing constant serving and care. So took the plunge into battery powered and so far I’m really impressed . It’s well built , light , quiet and cuts and removes grass really cleanly.i have 2 large gardens and the batteries do both.so could possibly do 1.5 times before charging. All in all a very good mower for the price.
Easy to set up and use, great value cordless mower. Made my life much easier than the old mains-wire mower in my garden, which also required the additional bother of an extension lead to do the back lawn.
The Hawksmoor cordless mower has significantly reduced the time taken to cut our lawns and the batteries were only 30% depleted after cutting both front and back.
Recharge time was about two hours.
I found this lawnmower easy to use, robust, well made, good battery life, gives a good even cut, the roller gives a slight stripe which aids in positioning your next lane. The lawn after the cut was good for croquet! I would certainly buy it again.
Excellent service from Toolstation, so far lawnmower working well.
Very easy to assemble and ready to mow quickly.
Having used a corded mower for years, this was so much easier to navigate around my lawn.
To be fair the grass was very dry but hopeful that it performs just as well in more challenging conditions.
Battery life was great - still had three green lights on each battery at the end (100ms lawn).
Grass box much bigger than my previous one so only two trips to the garden waste bin
Also quieter than my corded one
So far, top marks!
Battery power is more than I expected, excellent choice of cutting levels, great collection bag.
I did lots of homework on cordless mowers i.e,run time, ease of use, grass box size, cutting heights and more. The Hawksmoor ticked all the boxes and was cheaper than lots of other brands.I do like quality tools/garden equipment and Hawksmoor is certainly great quality.
Does the job well - we had a really large lawn before we moved so had a beast of a petrol mower so was unsure if this would do the job at new place - all good so far - we upgraded to two batteries on purchase so never have a job half done 👍
