bought it for deburring 1.2mm sheet steel, no to no effect effect.
Works - but then . . why should it not!. Good value.
Absolutely brilliant little gizmo, love this, I do a lot of craft projects and this has been a godsend, completely recommend.
Handy little tool, just right for the small DIY jobs.
Probably good in wood and plasterboard but was using it in plastic, total waste of time effort and money. I would've done better just buying countersink cutting screws.
Handy little countersunk tool that can be kept in pocket. Saves getting drill and attachment out.
It takes quite a lot of effort to use this tool, but it does work and produces neat counterbores. It is really useful if you want to control the exact size and depth of the counterbore, which is much harder with a countersink in an electric drill, as it tends to cut too deep. One other comment, the diameter is not given on the web site (it should be). It is about 17mm diameter and I wish they did a bigger one, as this is not big enough for M10 bolt heads
Great little tool...qick and easy to use to countersink screws to the exact depth required...much better than an adaptor on a drill/driver
It looks nothing like the photo. Its blue, not orange, and is of the multi-fluted "rose" pattern of countersink. It is nice and wide, and the countersink is at a wide angle....
probably around 120 degrees, although I haven't measured it.
Look up "countersink" on Wikipedia, which has a diagram. This countersink is like the one on the far right of the diagram. It produces a wide shallow countersink, wide enough to sink any
reasonable-sized countersunk screw-head below the surface, but not so steep it encourages the head to pull through and try to split the wood!
Nice basic tool for simple-to-rough work, functional and inexpensive.
I must apologize to my readership for the relative brevity and low content of finely-honed irony in this review. I'm in a bit of a hurry. It's stopped raining, want to go out to use this product before the rain starts again!
Handy little tool, it saves changing the drill bit and fits nicely in your hand. Takes a bit of elbow grease to make a decent countersink.
Perfect for the job and very sharp. Saves all the fiddle of fitting into drill chuck and as a hand tool you have so much more control
Good sharp edges. Hand grip is ideal size for me. Would recommend.
Good hand grip, countersinks easy, well made. Does the work as it should.
Handy Gadget. No expensive.
Not as shown in catalogue, has blue handle but does now have a cutter which tapers to a point. Not particularly sharp, but ok for use on softwood.
I read reviews and thought, how bad can it be?? answer: its cheap but its not even worth what you pay. Reason: its not the same product as shown in the catalogue, The conical bit has cutting edges which only bite in holes of maybe 8mm or more. The cutting edges should meet at the centre but don't. Under that and they dont cut at all. Who uses 8 mm CSK screws? Not me.
Not as pictured and obviously a lot cheaper but OK for the price.
This thing is nearly blunt and I've used it twice - might be handy for cleaning an already drilled countersink hole, but other than that, not so much.
Item in store did not match online photo
Item seemed to be different type, colour was blue with different handle and cutting tip was different also; otherwise worked okay
