Great product, painted straight onto bare metal and covered great
An excellent product, and was available to collect in minutes
It might be bit more expensive but two coats of hammer finish are the longest lasting finish which stops rusting and looks good. Worth wearing disposable gloves if likely to get some paint on your hands.
Great service. Ordered for click and collect and ready on arrival. Friendly and efficient. Paperless transaction.
Welcomed by store staff informed of loyalty discount and helped to install to my phone to receive customer discounts on purchases during these challenging times product was in excellent condition and all used on corrugated iron sheets and are now properly protected from the elements.
Having used this paint before and you never get any issues applying hammerite paint onto surface.
Great result on old railings. Mix of old paint and rusty metal covered really well in one coat.
Good solid longterm cover for metal, used before and prefer the hammered finish
I know its good but wanted smoothrite, didnt have any so swapped for another (very good) paint
The Hammerite Hammered finish paint, covered well on wood and metal. The next day it was dry and I was able to touch up where I had missed bits. There was no need to paint a second coat. I only used very cheap paint brushes so I had no need to buy the thinners/cleaner as I just threw them away after completing that day's painting. I revamped an old wooden coldframe, a metal parasol base, a metal bird feeding station and several metal art pieces from my garden. They now look smarter than when I first bought them 😁 I'm hoping to repaint my outside front light too, if I have enough paint left.
Hammerite is excellent to brush straight on to any metal without a primer. Has a slight metallic attribute which looks nice. I used it for a new metal gate including parts that were already galvanised. Perfect!
Yes I've used my Hammerite and as usual it's fine no problem.
Great product, staff was friendly and helpful

Hammerite did what it said on the tin
Does take a couple of days in low temperatures to dry lasts a long time
Great coverage on the iron fence on our front wall. Very little ground work needed and covered the worst spots of rust with ease.
It does what it says on the tin. I was surprised by the fact that it doesn't need primer.
Used this to try and create an aged look on various hinges and plates. It doesn't produce anything like the hammered look it used to. Covers well but the finish is disappointingly smooth.
Does exactly what it says on the tin. Perfect for diy enthusiasts.
Very easy to paint on. Cheapeat place to buy was Toolstation. Looks really good once dry. Non drip is ideal
Used it to re-paint an old cast iron handrail. Easy to apply, dries quickly, really nice finish. Not sure about eight years, find I have to re-paint every two or three.
