Chose short pile so as not to leave a dipple effect. And thats exactly what it does - a nice smooth finish.

Didn’t pick up paint well. Gave a smooth finish but took too long to use
Performed as expected, didn’t shed too much which is always a worry.
Attach sleeve to roller frame, dunk in paint, roll onto wall. Voila, you are applying paint to the wall!

Top quality product, as you would expect from Hamilton, you might pay a little bit more, but will last and out perform most of the competition.
