Works well on both brushed and pebble dashed surfaces - just what was needed. It holds a lot of paint, which is good for applying but, when it comes to cleaning up, there’s a lot of paint to remove.
Made painting breeze blocks quicker and better than a brush
I used this to apply Storm Dry damp proofing cream to the end elevation of my house. The brick was a relatively smooth Fletton type and the roller passed over it well whilst applying the cream. The roller pile picked up well from the roller tray sufficiently well to avoid excess run off. I fitted the roller over an existing foam roller but on reflection l should have bought a dedicated handle for this product as the roller fell off a few times.
Brilliant for painting over new dashing. We' found the regular masonry type with the deep pile towel type construction picked up loads of the dashing and became very heavy and ineffective extremely quickly, leading to frequent 'picking out' sessions to continue the job, these dont pick up anything like as much dash. Not sure if theyre any better than regular ones on pre painted or flat surfaces as I didnt try, but if youve got the tough job of painting fresh dashing, these are the ones for you!!

More like a sponge than a roller, different to the other masonry rollers I've used but it got the job done. It did seem to struggle with more textured bricks though
Best roller I've found for roughcast due the very deep pile, works great.
