If you a serious decorator or in my case use for installation of resin primers on the floor then these cages are perfect
Excellent product, made the job a lot easier than using standard size
Have used a traditional roller for ever, however saw this and gave it a go
Game changer
Paint is evenly distributed and size means wall is painted in no time
Would definitely recommend
Perfect and much better than the standard rollers.
Excellent roller, very sturdy to use, doesn'tbend to one side like a normal roller so you can maintain even pressure across the whole roller surface..
After about 3 hours rolling white paint the grey markers began. The aluminium pin runs in plastic slots of the roller. Over time, the aluminium wears to form a fine powder which finds its way into the paint. Maybe ok for a dark paint but disastrous with white. I would never buy this again. Go for the stainless steel version.
Usually use other makes but unfortunately my spare broke so needed an urgent replacement.
It worked amazing for a moment, but later on started leaving grey lines on a white paint (from aluminium paint) and i haven't used it since
Wet paint and friction causes aluminum pins to discolour the paint (white paint to Silver)
Quality roller frame...works as it ought to, easy to clean.
Very sturdy double arm cage. Easier to apply even pressure with the bend of a standard roller cage. Made the job that little bit easier.
The aluminium pins on these cheap frames wear down inside the plastic roller ends and creates a grey sludge. It will ruin your paint job
Much more stable and even cover than your usual roller
Gets the job done quick! Sturdy and durable, have used a handful of times and no issues.
Great quality, long lasting, well made, would buy again.
Started bleeding aluminium dark streaks into my white ceiling nightmare Don't buy.
Made life easier when using the extension pole on my 3 bed semi exterior paint job
This roller frame is strong and lightweight and well made to hold a 12 inch roller. Covering walls and ceilings is much quicker than a conventional roller
aluminium pins wear from the roller sleeve going around inside and then you have grey marks in the paint and then spreads to walls where it is seeping out of the holes and into your scuttle, took me a while to figure out what the problem was. Had to tape around the pins and re fix roller so that I could finish the job. Wouldn’t recommend this.
This could be a really good value frame but is let down by the screw, which protrudes too much and is too sharp, resulting in it scratching adjacent walls and shredding scuttle liners. The retaining pin and screw also extrude black goo which can leak into paint when used. Get a Purdy frame if you will be using it a lot and/or painting large areas. Stick with 7" rollers and frames if not.
