Hafele Flap stay was a direct replacement for the existing pneumatic stay with no need to replace fixings. Hafele website was helpful with load calculations and required force

The installation instructions are very poor. I'm well-used to doing DIY & following instructions, but these defeated me. Returning.
Fitted to toy box lid to stop trapped fingers. Was tricky to adapt this to the application but after a couple of trials it worked. Not sure of the durability but so far it’s good. Price is good for what you get.
Works well on holding up the door on the bridging unit. Slow close too, so not crash bang wallop. The perfect thing for kitchen units and other door applications.
Bought two for each door not knowing how much trial and error it would take to fit and they work properly but they come with instructions which are simple and easy to follow and it doesn't take long to fit.

Very easy to install but only just strong enough to hold the required load so feel a bit flimsy. Hopefully, they'll last.
Quite well made with easy to understand instructions, works a treat on Moho overhead locker.
Replaced old one using the old screw holes on the cabinet but just position ed the door part by eye, as the door was new. Works great, like as I'd cupboard was new
Being used to a mechanical stay,this is great, definitely recommend.
My grandson loves slamming things, and after I built a window seat (with storage), I wanted to avoid him doing it on his sisters fingers. This is ideal, soft close and an angle you can choose prior to fixing. Job done.

This hinge was very easy to fit and works very well. A little tip is to screw one of the fittings to the unit first then hold the hinge and measure where the next fitting goes and screw that in. Then it's just a matter of push fitting the hinge to the fittings. Job done.
