Progys 200A PFC is a powerful inverter arc/ TIG welder designed for professional workshop/maintenance use. It ensures professional welding on steel, cast iron and stainless steel up to 10 mm thick. It comes equipped with the latest electronic inverter technologies including PFC - Power Factor Correction providing increased power efficiency enabling use on long extension leads up to 100m (without power drop), intensive use from a 16A supply & efficient use with generator power supplies. It also features Hot Start which makes for easy arc striking, Anti Sticking that reduces the risk of electrodes sticking to the work piece and Arc Force which regulates the arc length ensuring a strong arc. The unit has a High duty cycle with welding current adjustable from 10 to 200Amps enabling the use with electrode sizes 1.6 to 5mm. It can also be used in TIG DC mode with Lift arc start & automatic downslope (optional TIG torch required). The PROGYS 200A PFC also includes a voltage test function to measure input voltage. It has single-phase power supply (240v) with protection against overvoltages up to 400v (PROTEC 400) and generator friendly. This unit is supplied in carry case with earth cable and electrode holder. It features a 2 year parts & labour warranty.
