Purchased for a client in December. Traveled 40 miles to install. I finished installing the product and tested it before it was released. The product was leaking water. I realized it was coming from behind, but I didn't understand what it was because the space was tight. I disassembled it and when I looked at it, the product was broken.Toolstation told me to contact Grunfos as they could not take returns for health and safety reasons. Then I called the call center. (also disappointing as I paid my mobile provider £15 for this call too) Grunfos spoke to Toolstation on my phone, and they accepted the return. The new product arrived, and I drove the 40 miles again. This time there was no problem. Our new tactic broke down after 3 months. Grunfos says we can return the product. However, no one talks about labor costs and travel times. Bad experience for me.
Brought next day and took to Holland where we were working, opened box and the unit had been crushed in transit, tried to sort exchange but told to return to store for refund. Couldn’t source replacement in Holland so have an expensive return visit to pay for, check product especially if next day by courier
Easy to install, fitted neatly under sink and does the job perfectly. Quieter than I was expecting. Ran pipework up and over the back of the house to take the kitchen sink waste to the septic tank at rear of property. Lift 3m, pipe run 10m, 4x90 and 4x45, plus don't forget lagging, I used boiler condensate lagging on the 32 and 40mm waste.
I was replacing a similar model and it works as expected.
