perfect had 1 din rail space and this 7 day 6 event timer fitted and is doing fine job turning on an economy 7 low power item
This is a very handy little time clock it’s easy to set and being din rail mount I’ve installed it inside my fuse box which saves finding it an alternative enclosure. I’ve installed it for security reasons so as to switch lights on and off as I need whilst away I’ve got two of these timers and I would recommend them as a sound purchase
A little fiddly to programme but ideal for the led lights in my gateposts so they don't stay on all night.
An impressive little unit with some great features!
It has an override function to advance the timer to the next programmed OFF or ON interval but it is not able to switch the output permanently ON or OFF, as found on socket-box timers.
As the timer module is just 18mm in width, there is limited space for extra features, etc.
Perhaps a future iteration of the unit will have updated software to include the switching function described above, invoked by repeatedly pressing of a button to cycle through the available options!
If installed in a consumer unit, its profile will probably match the profiles of MCBs and RCBOs, etc.
Bought for outside lighting pre photocell, doddle to install and set up, cant fault it.
Simple to program but wiring different to MK timer

Bought this timer to fit in an existing electrical distribution board. It purpose to switch OFF my outside lights over night to save electricity with the lights switching on when animals cause the sensors to switch. Does the job really well, easy to install and picked up same day from my local Toolstation.

Great product to control an external socket. Primarily to control on/off for Christmas Tree lights.
This timer seems to be perfectly functional, but if you're over 40 (I'm a lot over!) then be sure to have your reading glasses with you as the buttons and display are quite small :-) But then it does all fit in a single Din rail space! Also the terminal screws require a small cross head screwdriver to do up, again a side effect of the size.
I wanted a timer to activate various water features in the garden during daylight hours, so I fitted this in the consumer unit in place of the standard trip switch for external power. It was a straightforward replacement on the rail, but the wiring was non-standard because of the need to charge the internal battery, as well as power the external loads. Once done, the timer settings were not difficult to setup using the instructions provided, although the setting buttons and display window are quite small. It is capable of having 2 on-off settings per day and different settings for 6 days of the week. Once the cover of the consumer unit was closed, you would never know it was there, but it operates perfectly. The timings can be reset by opening the cover to access the trip switches. It is a great alternative to having individual timers for each water feature.
