Comes with no screws. Tried to use screws from a double socket but they don’t fit. Got another mechanical socket and that has no screws. Pretty poor really.
Installed this into an external waterproof enclosure to control decorative lighting. Product works well, but not supplied with fixing screws as you would expect with a switch plate (at least they weren’t in the box). The product is sold as a ‘replacement’, so if this is a new installation, you will need screws. Also, I had to modify the rivets holding the earth strap in place, as the switch plate fixing screws would not fit through them. The rivets had been incorrectly swaged and the centre hole was too small for the screw. This is clearly a QC issue at Greenbrook that turned a 10 minute installation task into a 40 minute one. I’m sure this was a one off, but frustrating nevertheless.

Does what it’s supposed to do. I think controls are a bit fiddly to use.
This timer plug seems to work well. It's relatively easy to change the configuration from the inbuilt socket being the timed circuit to making this a permanent live socket and changing the output as a rear exit fixed timer line.
Just so you know this socket doesn't come with screws so I had to but a bag of screws to fix it to the backbox.
That's not bad for me as we use these screws from time to time but for the home DIY person it does add to the cost.

A great device. Installed in a weatherproof box to provide a timeswitch for a garden water feature. Very easy to install, perfect fit and working really well

Does the job. A couple of points. 1 the connectors are on the far right side at the top, so if you are using existing wiring it might be tight. 2 the plastic front seems a bit soft so don't overtighten the mounting screws as it may cause the front edges to flex a bit

Firstly the build quality of the socket is poor and it is made out of a cheap feeling plastic which is a different colour white to any make of UK socket, The timer on the other hand is excellent. So far. Completely silent and keeps time. Feels like it's well made.
I bought and fitted this timer socket, went to plug in my tester and the plug wouldn't go fully in. I really didn't want take it off the wall and drive back to Toolstation, so I tried everything to get it to accept a plug. Went back to Toolstation and they only had one in stock and that had the exact same problem. Later I was in a different branch and they had one which accepted a plug easily so I fitted that one. Apart from the massive waste of time and hence money, the third timer socket works well. So far.
Really pleased with this. I set it up so I could charge my hybrid car (which uses a 13A plug charger) during the incredibly cheap overnight tariff from Octopus energy. This means I do most of my driving for just over 1p per mile and the socket does all the work for me while I sleep! It seems more robust than using a "plug in" timer.

Have had this installed for a few days and am very pleased. Is silent in operation, no flashes that I have seen, and easy to change times, or switch to constant.
Brilliant idea. Used for pool.
