Seems to work well not a lot to it in reality, can work or not I suppose and it works, test maybe how long it lasts I’ve had other makes for circa 10 years and of four two no longer work so let’s see.

Overall, it's a reasonably useful item; the dial is a bit fiddly to turn to set the correct time, especially if you've already set the on/off times, and it's quite a tall appliance so won't fit in a socket that's got something close above.
It works ok and switches on the heater in a shed, perfectly ok. I've bought a second one for another building. I'll note how it deals with the current load and have put a smoke detector nearby...just in case!
Works well until the timer reaches 14:00, then it flickers off for 5 mins then comes back on. I've cheched the settings on the dial and they are in the right position. I will keep an eye on it see if it's just a random event. it's happend twice over the space of a few days.

I had a UK made 24hr mechanical timer which ran my dishwasher for 20 years before wearing out. When I came to researching a replacement, I found critical reviews for many makes, both mechanical and digital. I chose the Green Brook 24hr mechanical model after a close online image inspection, and reading the tech spec. I am happy with what I have bought and the good points are: It is a pleasing design and well finished, with clear numbers, does not interfere with socket switch access, full 13amp spec, timing keys easy to select with fingernail, Nicely boxed with concise clear instruction sheet. Criticisms: the rotating bezel has a smooth circumference and the timing keys are the only grippy surface, so a little care is needed when rotating the bezel to avoid inadvertently changing chosen settings. When the timer is running, the motor makes the fast ticking noise of a small clock, more noticeable when plugged into a stud wall.
I have only used it for a couple of weeks, but so far so good.

This is a basic, easy to use timer. No fiddly pins to insert just slide the quarter hour segments to set up on and off times.
