I needed a pair of security hinges for a project to convert a domestic back door from inwards opening to outwards (so that even if the hinge pins are sawn off or punched through the security lobes prevent the door being removed from its frame). These hinges are certainly heavy weight and supplied with good quality stainless steel screws.
The hinges have to be ordered for next business day collection, so I ordered them online along with another item which Toolstation had in stock at my local store. Toolstation assigned my order an order number but then split the order and only notified me when the item already in stock was ready for collection. There was no notification when the hinges were delivered – which could have been at any time during the working day. Having waited for several hours, I phoned Toolstation and was told that my hinges had been delivered five hours earlier!
Lesson learned: make a separate order for each ‘next day delivery’ item you need
