Turns out after many hours trying to fit these so called “door hinges” that they are NOT a compatible door hinge for a 1984 Ford Capri

Make sure the door is wide enough as these are wide hinges.

Bought the wrong size and took back to swap and pay the additional price but this was refused as just outside of the 30 days they allow. No grace at all - just outright refusal for a long time regular customer. Says a lot about the company you're buying from and since this happened, I've rarely used Toolstation for my needs except for when I've been desperate. They've probably lost thousands in revenue because of this but I'm sure they don't care.
