Glazing Silicone 225 is a quality product at a competitive price.
Easy to use and little dirt pickup - used for external uPVC door finishing
Good stuff used on skylight where access was difficult.seems strong enough
Recommend by your staff for work associated with a UPVC door. It worked a treat. Used to glue a cover strip over existing damage. Bonded easily over existing sealer. NOT SELLERS FAULT, BUT WHY CANT THE MANUFACTURER MAKE AN EFFICIENT TEMPORARY NOZZLE SEALING SYSTEM?
No odour, easy to apply, sets quick and easily workable.
Easy to apply, a good steady stream of filler no mess no fuss, would highly recommend
Does what it says , what more can I say , recommend
This is very easy to use, both in applying and finishing. I used it on perspex sheet and it has held firmly, just like glass. It is so much easier to use than putty!
Quick and easy to used . Good for glazing job , fast cured .
Glazing silicone
This is an excellent product. It seals very well yet is flexible at the same time
I'm sure that silicone has great properties as a putty replacement for single glazed windows, and the price was good, but it is a difficult product for a relatively unskilled DIYer to use well and achieve a half-way decent finish. Also messy and difficult to clean up.
Well, I had trouble using this…. I was thinking that it might be a bit like glazing putty consistency, but I was soooo wrong. It was very runny, and drippy. It squirted out of the tube very easily, and dribbled everywhere. I scraped it up into the correct places, and crossed my fingers. It seems to be holding the glass in place, but doesn’t look as neat and tidy as the one I did with other glazing putty that I found in the shed, but ran out.
Great product, used before
