Twisted ring handle gives much better grip. Decent quality.
This is a good looking and subtantial product but I experienced problems. The actual latch with handle assembly were fine but the corresponding handle I suspect was faulty. When the whole gate latch was fitted (simple instructions followed) and everything tightened, the latch was too stiff to function. I eventually solved this and the latch now works fine. The other problem was that the epoxy coating did not cover all of the visual ares of the suspected faulty handle. This meant I had to paint the uncoated parts with black enamel. Given the time taken to do all of this, I decided not to return the item, however time will tell if rust invades the epoxy uncoated areas. I am pleased with the overall look and functionability of the latch but expected better for the price.
