I bought this and fitted it today as I wanted to be able to open my gate from the outside with a key. Very sturdy design with an very large throw, just as described. Perfect for the job and no more expensive than a high quality padlock.
Pricey, but worth it as you can choose this one which has a thumb turn on inside.
Very expensive for what it is. Because of the arrangement on my gate it did take a long while to install. You’ve got to remember to make room for the bolt to come back. If it’s not closed fully and properly from the inside you can’t get a key into the lock on the other side. That’s a bit annoying.

This was recommended to beef up back garden security. Really good quality and easy to fit with a slight cut down on the centre bolt.
This is a brilliant garage door lock. It is not cheap but very heavy, well made and a great design. I'm sure it will provide a high security solution.

Bought one 9 months ago and just now it jammed. The bar does not move. TOOLSTATION were fab and exchanged it. Just got a feeling it may happen again!
