Brilliant I’ve purchased this item to put around my bird feeder to allow small birds to feed without greedy larger birds taking it and squirrels. just the job.I used cable ties to put together.
Perfect for small garden projects. Good quality and look great when filled.
I bought 2 of these landscaping boxes to go around my bird feeders so the pidgeons couldn't get in but little birds can, they work brilliantly
Very good customer service. Popped into the Estover branch as I was passing through. Didn't have the "cube" so the staff phoned through to the Faraday Mill branch. Saved it for me to collect which I did the next day.
Robust enough for size and mesh diameter! Be careful to wear gloves as sharp edges are a part of the assembly process and you may need to deburr?
Very sharp ends caught my hand when opening the plastic wrapping so ground down the sharp edges on the spirals before assembling the Gabion , filled with stones and they do look good in the garden, using these as plant pot stands at present. Overall a decent purchase for the price!
Great for alternative use as a bird feeder to keep the squirrels out
Metal gauge okay for this size of cube but would prefer thicker for larger sizes that I have. Take a few minutes with an angle grinder to take off the sharp points on the spirals before assembly, it’ll save on your fingers and clothing. Seem to withstand the weather as advertised. Overall good value.
Easy to assemble and as described. Good price as always
Easy to put together, well made.
excellent value for money to help me build concrete base to support gabion cube.
best price, the right size and easy to assemble. would have been 5 stars but there are very sharp ends on the connecting wires, i will have to find a way to make them safe so that clothing and skin dont get snagged.
Bit overpriced for what it is, the spiral fixings are a bit naff so I used wire fencing clips instead. The wire mesh is strong and well galvanised.
Relatively easy to put together although wire spirals were very stiff and difficult to bend for the final fixing. They leave a rather sharp point which is going to have to be made safe somehow - good value for money.
Product is fine for the money. Goes together easily enough. Only downside is the twirly bits (technical name) are a little too short.
Made Stunning little seats in garden for cats. Used grey block to fill in centre then put plum skate on outside that shows, topped off with a couple of stone slabs left o ver from another project.. great
sturdy and not expensive - just had another - has even gone down a bit in price - well done TS
Chose the smallest available as I had read some reviews which suggested that the larger cubes might distort through weight ratio. Good looker with some lovely Scottish pebbles.
