good quality brass stop cock for a replacement valve that had been in since the 60s as copper pipe was 3/4 old imperial ,had to alter all pipes to get it a place where customer could reach using 3/4 new olives instead off the 22mm that come with the valve
The main cold riser stop cock would not turn off , I tried renewing washer on 60 year old stop cock without success in hindsight should not even bothered just renewed . Unfortunately although I managed to renew with this make ,in a really tight under cupboard area, it closed the supply but you need to really turn very tightly to stop water 100% . Surprising as it was brand new . If access renewal had not been so difficult I would have bought another make and returned but as I will hopefully not require to turn off for a year or so … if I am here ! I would not buy again . This is my first negative review on toolstation over several years of purchasers
