Too long to fit a standard cistern. Unfortunately there's no dimensions included in the product info so be read this carefully before buying the product itself is nearly 370 mm. I needed to replace a enclosed cistern fill valve and this sticks out on top at least 5 cm.
It’s really long. It doesn’t fit inside any standard ceramic cisterns as far as I can see. The description doesn’t list the how long it is either. Not including the brass shank, it’s just over 30cm long. Most cisterns are about an inch or two shorter. It would be fine in a storage tank. It’s a shame because it seems to be really good quality overall. I’m going to swap it for non air gap one, see if that’s any better.
