Good side valve (side entry). Saw this one on youtube and liked the look of it especially with the brass shank. Have now installed it and it works great, good fill mechanism. Anyway very pleased with this purchase.
Bought this due to its quiet fill however, once fitted, and quiet filling, the valve decided to expel water horizontally from the unit soaking the area. So had to return and decided to replace with a different product. As there seem to be similar reviews elsewhere, I am wondering if this is a design flaw.
Fitted this after finding that the cistern kit sent with a back-to-wall +pan unit I ordered had a side entry valve with an inlet too long to fit inside the unit.
This AIRGAP valve was narrow enough to fit inside the cistern with a large spacer allowing the cistern to be used within the wood panelling of the BTW unit symmetrically.
Very easy to adjust from above also..
Bought to replace the inlet valve that came with the W****** cistern which refused to seal after under a year in service and only light use. So far this unit seems excellent and much easier to adjust the water level

Great little valve easy to install and adjust, replaced an old slow filling valve.
Easy to install and adjust. Very quiet fill compared to a standard ballcock. Dropped one star as it could do with a bit more travel to the fill level, so you can increase the level further.
Good product but I had an issue as I found that the float could not be adjusted high enough to allow a full fill to the cistern and therefore compromised the dual-flush facility that i have. Maybe caused because my toilet cistern is 50 years old!
Fitted the Fluidmaster Airgap 6000 in under 1 min an easy swap for my old leaky ballcock
Avoid this! 1: the black half-doughnut cap guiding water down easily pops off under pressure, allowing water to spray up and outward in the cistern which could find a way out and cause water damage and 2. even if that doesn't happen it is REALLY noisy when it fills, even when cistern is boxed in.
Straight forward and easy to install. However, despite the statement in the feature list, this device is anything but quiet. It is in fact very noisy which is very disappointing.
Excellent bit of kit, very quiet, no noisy hissing during fill like others. Easy to fit.
Great valve that works quietly and efficiently straight out the box.
