Bought this in conjunction with a lightweight 20W mains security light, to mount the light angled horizontally from the wall. The bracket comes without any screws or plugs to fix it to the wall, but it does have 2 short bolts and washers for securing the light to its swivel plate. I used the stout screws & plugs that came with the security light to fix the bracket to the wall; they were a perfect fit and held it very securely with no droop when the light was attached, despite the leverage. It's a really excellent little bracket and at the time of buying Toolstation was the cheapest (and of course quickest) supplier.
Having the angled bracket makes the flood light much more adjustable, giving greater control over the direction of the light .

Ideal for mounting a PIR security light so that it pointed exactly where I wanted it to. In fact I bought another bracket for a second light that I needed to mount (in a rather awkward position) in order to give me full detection and light coverage on my drive. Problem solved.
