had a tight spot to repair a pipe this was cheap and ideal
Very good product, but there should be instructions. What is the smallest radius I can bend the pipe. Do not bend close to the copper ends. Do not twist the pipe, etc. I was an aircraft engineer, most plumbers are not.
I needed to get a pipe through two pieces of timber to connect up a concealed cistern toilet. No room to access for pipe bends, and this was the perfect solution!
Useful to permit expansion without stress. As I had to have an excessively long straight run.
Not as flexible as other options out there! Big faff in shaping it before installing it.
Great idea but unfortunately not very well made, the copper ends are thin and easily damaged
Not great. I bought the 450mm version of this and now won’t use it for the following reasons. Developed a leak 10 days after I installed it because it would resist a twisting action when it was done up at one end and there’s nothing to hold it to stop it twisting. Pipe weld fractured on the join between the flexible steel part and the copper end. Water all over the kitchen ! It’s a nice idea asa product but will be used in places where a decent solid junction can’t be used but you can’t execute the tightening of the fitting without putting a twist on the item.
Excellent simple piece of kit, saved me a lot of time and money having that to hand fixing a leak on central heating system
I moved it a few times and it snapped in 2 rubbish
never again, produce leak after 1 week
i felt this was the ideal product and in some ways it is,i fitted it behind shower wall after compression join was not leaking and pushed through panel hole and proceeded to fit all in place,4 days later water spurting out hole just at copper meets stainless part,if not for the hard hassle of removing all work done would of taken back and next few months be watching lower part behind panel doesnt blow, used a putty to fix the one on show near shower box connection and so far o.k
Fitted this for my shower behind the cladding wall .1week it lasted it split from the copper joint from the stainless steel flooded bathroom and kitchen
Completely crap item. Leaked after 2h of fitting. Weste of time and money
I'm fed up with normal flexible polymer lined hoses failing after a few years these look like they will last forever.
Had a difficult pipe run when installing a replacement shower lots of bends and angles this just flexed into the right shape in minutes.
Very good value and perfect for the job that I needed it for
Bought two, one snapped at the joint between the copper end and the flexible section.
I bought this to help get round an awkward shower install which it did, however on turning the water back on it leaked from several different pinholes in the stainless steel section.(had same problem with the 3/4" version)
