Easy to fit if you buy the base and quite discreet
Easy to fixed on the ceiling and also look great there
Bought to replace DETA smoke alarms, same size, also bought quick fix bases these had the same 20mm knock out and screw holes made things a lot easier to install. They have a little LED light so you know mains is on and come with a battery. Great replacement, no problems what so ever.
The product was broken from inside, three out of four clips were broken when opened the packaging. I went back to return within 24 hours but the store didn’t took back the return.

This alarm was easy to fit. It comes with a clip connector with wires attached so you need to make connections and hide them in the ceiling space otherwise it won’t attach to the ceiling plate provided. I have since found that Fireangel do a connector plate for an additional £8 that negates the need for the clip connector which makes it easier for attaching and removing.

Got this one to match the fire angel smoke alarms on a refurb easy to install and you don't want to skimp on cheaper ones when it comes to safety especially if its a rental

Bought two of these to replace 7 year old linked detectors which had started random activations and "chirping". The units seem very good quality and were easy to fit, including a battery and all fixings.
No problems so far, also replaced three smoke detectors in the bedrooms with the SW1 type on the he same interlinked system. Good service from Toolstation and available with immediate stock at local branch.
Good price easy to fit when using the backplate would be better if hole for wires was not as near to the connectors

Good product, only draw back is the lack of space in the unit for connection to mains.
Easy to fit as I was replacing some old ones. Only downside with fire angel is they need to recess slightly in the ceiling due to the connector link. Otherwise nice smoke and heat detectors at a great value, for 10 year life.
Heat detection device does the job plus looks ok it’s an off white so goes nicely with our new kitchen ceiling as I do not like Brilliant White.
A decent smoke alarm at a good price let down by the mains connection. The mains connection comes as a plug with single insulated wires coming off that you then need to connect to the mains supply. This connection needs to enclosed within a suitable junction box. Under certain circumstances this can be very awkward to do and time consuming. It would be far better if the mains connection was made directly to the base like many other manufacturers.
