Replaced earlier model with this item. Why oh why can't manufacturers keep the fixings the same when they update their products? This model is millimetres smaller than previous one meaning an ugly mark is now showing on the ceiling. Totally unnecessary with a little bit of thought . As to how good the fire alarm is .... no idea and I hope not to find out as that would involve having a fire!!!

Fire Angel smoke alarm. Good value easy to fit. Had one in store at Toolstation. Easy to get to and park.
Bought to replace a previous FireAngel alarm that’s battery had expired. Slightly different model but still fitted straight onto the existing mounting bracket so no extra work or decoration required.
Same price as I could find online but was in stock and able to collect immediately.
It does everything you need from a fire alarm. It wasnt needed for a kitchen so I didn't bother with the heat sensor. It's an extra thats not needed if it detects smoke and burning. It's for the central hallway so perfect. Also fire angel is great at fitting previous fittings. They seems standard size (thankyou fire angel for your logic and kindness!). Amazing ten years life as well all for just £15. A good quality brand too. They are making great products.
