Had bought the cheaper versions in the past and they stick. These work smoothly and don't jam or wobble in the tube. Worth the bit extra for the lack of hassle.
Well made in construction, the spring loading is strong. The nickel plate where you screw into the door did not warp as some metal do.overall well made.
It was right item I bought I needed it for a job. I need to do spot on good job.
Fitted half a dozen of these a about 3 years ago, one has failed completely locking the customer out of the room, another which is hardly used (kitchen door) is making the same warning click the the failed one has started to do. Poor given that they are not the cheapest and you'd hope fire rated ones would be better quality.
smooth action seems to be well made and strong easy to fit
Good solid quality for the price. Few millimetres bigger than existing, had to shave top and bottom of hole.
Fitted to replace an older model and worked fine. The staff were very helpful and said I could return the items if they didn’t fit.
Looks strong, feels durable, easy job to change one of those, the previous cheap one's insides shattered, was a mess, little black pieces spreading everywhere :) Horror to watch :)
Better quality than the cheaper alternatives. Satisfying clunk when the door closes.
Previous one failed, this one feels a lot better and gives the impression of being better, only time will tell

Checked part number against a previous purchase of the same thing, but it didn’t fit as a replacement.
Feels like they will last and that the metal casting wont just crumble like cheap ones. Ever so slightly bigger than the previous ones so I had to make the hole bigger and ensure that the little levers on top/bottom didn't catch the wood when operating the handles.
Straight swap for the existing worn latch, now door is fixed.
