sadly the holes do not accept ERA door knobs without a little adjustment, slightly under sized, but would be fine with 4mm fixing screws. ERA lock handles are 6mm dia, so the holes needed to be enlarged with 6.5mm bit to allow fitting. Added time but the latch itself is solid and a boon for retrofitting to deeply set door handles
Getting repeat failures on these unfortunately - well used door, eventually the latch goes too far back in the door and then gets stuck in its own casement, meaning I have to force it out with a screwdriver.
100mm door latch, hard to find, but in stock at Toolstation, good quality and very good value. And got it on a Sunday.

Needed a latch with 75mm backstop. This was 80, and near enough for a replacement. Build quality above average, but it is more expensive

Ordered online from Balham and ready to collect but what was offered was a shorter version. Fortunately I knew immediately it was not what I ordered although the staff member took some time to confirm that it wasn’t the correct item and they didn’t have what I had ordered. Disappointing.
