Purchased 2 packs and had kinked/bent in the 2m lengths ( same fault as the 15mm size packs)
The packaging or storage needs improvement.Mentioned to staff but blank expression.
Adhesive backing is useless as they all are so not specifically this item.
The adhesive is supposed to stick to the routed groove in the door or frame but as the wood is raw timber it does not adhere at all, Needed to buy pins as well
Perfect pack size for the one door I needed to fit with these seals.
Very reasonably priced - in stock for when needed - no complaints
smoke seal, good product, check size as 12mm seems to be the reg. also check qty, as i had to buy a second pack because the top section was missing..
Really great product. Fast and efficient delivery and ordering. Really like Tool Station for there range.
Simple and easy to use. Easy to cut and fits into precut recess
Had to pin the seal in as adhesive not stong enough
Good price, work fine, but the self adhesive glue isn’t as strong as more expensive ones.
You may find yourself looking for alternative fixing methods.
Comes coiled destroying the product as despite spending time straightening still doesn't stick and just pulls off. Waste of time when comes coiled
Not much to say, cheap, available! and fit as expected
Easy to cut to size. Adhesive good BUT didn't work so well on painted surface. Fine once shaved to bare wood. If you can leave the door closed for as long as possible it sticks really well
Easy to fit in 10mm rebate. May need some extra adhesive in high impact area
Meeting fire regs brilliant product from tool station
Easy to install also it has self adhesive tape to make it stick
Simple product, replaces existing intumescent seals. Has to be a close fit in the groove of the frame, so needed some persuading to get it fully home. May impact closing action however, so check that as well.
Easy to install. We routed the doors and fitted in. Excellent price.
Bought this to satisfy the new Fire Regs for flats entrance doors. They fit in the existing channel which was for draught excluder I think. Just need to clear out the layers of paint first. Just need to sort the closures which I'll get from Toolstation too.
