In stock and at a good price. Both packs had kinked/ bent, (2m lengths) only 2 packs in stock so had to purchase. Supplied in just a plastic bag ! needed better packaging protection. Managed to fit to door in the end. Good product, would purchase again, with out damage though.
The 2M long lengths should be a bit longer so that you don't have to butt joint on taller doors
The product itself is absolutely fine but my issue is where ever they are storing these is not right because every time I purchase one they are bent and twisted not stored flat 🤷🏻♂️

Good price item. But when I collected it was bent in 2. I was told they deliver to shop like this. Item is undamadged but this causes backing to come off glue side. Therefore I will need to glue and or pin myself
Seals were damaged when buying fire seals with gaps
Got this fire and smoke strip to fit in a customers old fire door that had no seal around it, once i'd routered the edge of the door to the depth of the strip, it was ieasy to cut the new strip to length with a stanley knife and fit it ito the door using the self adhesive backing
I had to change this before I picked it up as realised it was the routed version and not the stick on one, which I fitted no probs.
Poorly packaged ,left curled up and wont straighten, self adhesive poor,other than that ok

Fitted perfectly no issues at all easy to fit in groove
Easy to fit and slots in perfectly on a rebated frame. Cuts easily with a Stanley knife and (so far) hasn't pulled off when the door shuts and opens. Essential to clean out the rebate before stcking in place as the adhesive tape is quite thin. Recommend the hinge fire kit to go with it

I ordered the Intumescent door seal pack as it was advertised as being delivered to my local store next day and at a very good price. The product was exactly as ordered and allowed me to do the job as required. The only negative comment is that it said “we will notify you when it’s ready for collection” but I never received such notification and had to check myself that it had been delivered.

I ordered and collected 1 x set of intumescent strips for a door. It comprised of 2 x long pcs and a short pc.
The set was intended to be carried as is but the staff at the outlet produced a set that had been rolled up. Part of the strip is made with hard plastic so when rolled, fatigue fractures occur at stress positions along the length of the strip rendering the strip useless and unusable. Why the staff thought that that was saleable is beyond belief. There was only 1 x in stock. I do not have transport so had to take a bus for about 6 miles and walk about 1/2 mile, with arthritic knees, to get to the outlet only to be disappointed with shoddy goods from staff that should have known better. Makes me think that the level of care in Toolstation is well below other similar businesses offering the same hardware products.
