The Festool ISC 240 18V Brushless Insulating-Material Saw is an effortless saw designed for cutting through insulation materials. With this, it doesnt matter if you are working freehand, being guided along the guide rail, or working with mineral fibres, PUR boards, this is perfect if you need free mobility, versatility and efficiency. Easily able to cut up to 350mm in depth, this lightweight saw includes a brushless EC-TEC motor to ensure long life as well as high speeds. A grille protects the brushless motor against dust, debris and fibre ingress which allows the saw to be used at home as well as construction sites. The lightweight and soft grip handle reduces fatigue and aches, as well makes one handed operation easy. The double-click protective function prevents the tool from being switched on accidentally for safety while working. For a dust-free and healthy work environment, the saw can be added to an external dust extractor to remove insulating fibres while youre working. A useful accessory would be a guide rail and angle stop to allow for repeat cuts to be made quickly, and precisely. At the heart of this specialist saw is the EC-TEC brushless motor that allows you to use the tool efficiently. As part of the design, the tool utilizes every bit of battery power when you need, all while reducing the need for ongoing maintenance. The technology in creating a brushless motor system allows for perfect symmetry between battery power and usage ensuring you get all the power you need, when you need it with extended run time and higher power output.
