The new DFC 500 E shares the same design principle as the existing series of Domino jointers but with two main updates - firstly it has a rear D handle for a comfortable and secure grip when plunging the tool into the material, and secondly, it is battery powered: being part of the Festool 18v lithium ion cordless system means that Domino jointing can be conveniently carried out in a wide variety of on-site locations as well as when in the workshop.
