Great that it was in stock. I have used the product before this is why I purchased it. Works really well. Can only recommend highly.
Works but users should be aware it can leak I got a quarter of a cup back onto the floor easy to clean up but a nuisance none the less and yes both valves were closed before I removed the adaptor hence the reason for 4 stars
Great stuff! Easy to add this to my heating system, and it fixed a minor leak from a radiator valve connection within 2 minutes.
We'd had problems for a few weeks on the boiler in an empty house losing pressure. Everyday we went in we had to refill the boiler.
The Fernox was so easy to apply and fixed the problem within minutes.
Two weeks and the problem is now behind us.
This stuff really works.....had a tiny leak from radiator valve which was a retro fit to old pipe...after trying ptfe which usually works but not this time...it's worth every penny.
Boiler was losing pressure every couple of weeks, had a heating engineer over who couldn't solve the problem.. Likely skill issue!!.. Wish I'd discovered this before wasting the money on them! I applied it and the boiler seems to be holding pressure.
Very easy to use. Simple instructions. Product has improved boiler pressure thus far.
Perfect, added and run the system for over a week now and all leaks gone so great
In a perfect world we wouldn't have leaks, would we?. but there can always be that annoying little weep from a compression joint. Drain down? no. Freeze spray? no. Leak sealer? YES YES YES. So easy to use, so effective and so quick, well worth the price.
A slow drip occurred in the kitchen, coming from the bathroom that had just had a total refurb. I was dreading ripping up the new floor and wall panels but this magic potion has saved the day, so happy with this product. Got it in easily by isolating a radiator and part draining it.
Very simple application… can be use and all radiator vent needle/plug
Very quick dosing
All connections fittings for all radiator types
Would recommend
My central heating system was losing half a bar of pressure every 2-3 days and there was no visible sign anywhere of where the leak might be. Our British Gas engineer came to check out the system and couldn't find any sign of a leak either, and after checking the system's pressure tank was sound, said we'd probably need a more in-depth test done. I asked him if there was anything else worth trying and he said that it might be worth trying an off the shelf leak sealer as we'd have little to lose and it wouldn't do any harm to the heating system. I asked him if there was any particular brands they might suggest and he said British Gas usually used Fernox products.
I bought a pressurised can applicator of Fernox leak sealer from Toolstation and injected it easily and without any problems into the central heating system in about 30 seconds via the magnetic filter cartridge. I then switched everything back on. After a few hours' use, checking the pressure in the system once it had cooled showed no pressure loss at all. It's been a fortnight now since introducing it into the pipework and the system is now completely stable. Top class product, it fixed a leak that I was convinced needed a far more intrusive repair. What more can I say, try it and you will be pleasantly surprised.
Quick and easy solution to add to the radiator cycle if you find it it loosing pressure. Easy to install into the radiator systems - Worked a treat.
Service and ordering were good. Sadly the product didn't work. (Not Toolstations fault)
Been in for over a week and doesn't seemed to have worked
Excellent product does what it says on the description
Don’t follow the instructions on YouTube, especially if you have a sealed system, they are written so you will buy another can and spend an hour or two cleaning up. Do this, isolate the highest rad in the system with the lock shields. Drain off 2 litres of water. Remove bleed valve and loosen the opposite blanking plug to allow air out. Attach can as per instructions and empty into the rad which can take a minute. Remove can, replace bleed valve, tighten blanking plug. Fill system and bleed. Run system for 15 mins with all rads open
Easy to add to the system without any leakage - works perfectly
Loop pressure was dropping overnight but unable to find any leaks. Added this via the filter, circulated round the system and within a few days, it's holding its pressure again.
Easy to apply did what it said on the tin just wait and see if it works
