Older cast iron heat exchanger boiler was singing. Adding this stuff quietened it down within a couple of days.
Bought this as our boiler started to get noisy with constant use, worked a treat.
Bought this as read some reviews about it online. I have an ageing Oil Boiler system in the house which was making a right racket. Used a couple of bottles of this and the noise has reduced dramatically.
Took about a week for the effect to be noticeable but very pleased with it.
Normally go to the shop, but at the time only available for delivery, arrived promptly.
Bought this after contacting Fernox for advice on heat retaining solution and they recommend F2 now added to system and seams to help
Excellent product does what it says
I am always a bit doubtful about 'magic' products in a bottle but I have used Fernox products for over 30 years so thought it worth trying, my boiler is over 15 years old and was still banging and popping after descaling for the first time in over 30 years.
I drew some water off the bathroom radiator and put the bottle in there - the header tank is hard to get to - bled the radiator and turned its thermostat on full, then ran the heating for two hours to circulate the mixture. The boiler gradually got quieter over a couple of weeks use. Now, after two months, I haven't heard even a pop out of the boiler while it is running, just the noise of the gas burner.
I bought a second bottle because I wasn't sure that 1/2 litre would be enough in my system, but one has done the job.
This is a great product and was worth every penny for me,the noise from the boiler was really annoying. Well worth trying.
Followed the instructions, worked well once the system had run for a couple of days.
This is the second time I have bought and used F2. The last time was about 4 years ago. It worked then and it has worked this time too. Our boiler is a Potterton Suprima and it is about 20 years old. F2 is easy to use but note at least in my case, where I put it into the system via our header tank, it takes a week or two to work. Is it a magic pill no. Does it make a noticeable difference and is it worth the money - definitely yes.

I have used Fernox F2 previously in our 13-radiator installation, with a very old gas boiler. It acts as an inhibitor and certainly kills any boiler noise. (It was recommended by the BGas service engineer) It's easy-ish to add, by isolating a single rad, draining off a pint of the existing water, then adding Fernox F2 after removing the air bleed plug. (A fill pipe is available and recommended.)
Fernox F2 is quite hard to find online, but the price (including free next day delivery) was amazing at Toolstation. Excellent product, fantastic price and delivery.

I bought and used this bottle to top up the Fernox F2 Express previously used. This was because we have a large number of radiators and so needed to strengthen the dosage. It was easy to apply the contents of the bottle via the Magnaclean reservoir pot. Fingers crossed.
Had a very noisy boiler, was kettling for on each cold start. Easy to apply using the supplied adaptor through the filling loop, clear instructions on the can, Worked well, now have much less noise on startup.
