Good product for central heating system radiators
Great stuff for looking after the central heating, well recommended.
What can you say really? I put it in through the towel rail bleed plug and you hope it works.
Bought because of brand reputation. Hopefully will do the job!
Easy to get into rad and does what it's supposed to do 👍
Pleased with my buy of F1 Inhibitor seems to have done the job of settling down my central heating system. Good price also. Ordered online easy transaction easy pickup, Nice to be greeted with a smile and to be served in a courteous manner. Thank you to the guy that served me.
good stuff seems to work well - have used before and radiators always internally clean
Fernox F1 keeps my system clean and gas free - used when refilling system following a repair that required a system drain down.
Central heating inhibitor poured into radiator, can't say anymore
Simple and easy to use. As appealable label so you can write on the date and stick it on your boiler when you put the protector in the system.
While having a new Radiator fitted I decided to clean the header tank out and add Fernox F1 protector. I have used this product in the past and found it helps to keep the heating system running smoother.
Several years ago I tested this product by taking two small nails and placing one in a sealed jar of water treated with Ferniox F1 and the other in a sealed jar of plain water. Approximately 5 years later the one in the plain water had disintegrated into a small pile of rust and the other with the F1 was still shiny with no evidence of rust.
Despite being a bit more expensive I have always used this product since.
Enough to do the job with an even better price and easy-to-follow instructions
Better than alternative makes by far, paying a little extra is coppers when compared with remedial work on lime scale and corrosion in the heating system.
Beware of the internet, bought one the other day and the date of manufacture had been removed and batch number. In addition the cap seal assembly could be removed without braking the inbuilt cap security seal. Sent the item back for a refund.
Hence always buy from a reliable supplier like Toolstation who only deal in fresh stock from Fernox.
Note the date on the bottle is the manufacture date not the use by date.
Always been added this to central heating system when I have the yearly service.
It does help in keeping the water in the system fairly clean
As described, works well, cheaper than the competition
No idea if it works but you have to use it as per the instructions
Fernox has been my go to inhibitor for years. This was no exception. Just needed to top up following a partial drain of the system. Easy to use. I'm sure its working as usual. Would have needed two for an empty system.
Good value and an excellent product. Easy to add to the system.
Been In the trade and always used Fernox as It was the first on the market and proved Itself to be the best!
