The Faithfull Plastic Mitre Box is a precision cutting guide designed for creating accurate mitred and straight joints with a tenon saw. Constructed from high-impact polystyrene plastic, this versatile mitre box provides professional results for a range of carpentry and joinery applications. This mitre box features guide slots at 22.5°, 45° and 90° for multi-angled cuts, plus a dedicated 45° compound cut slot for more complex joinery work. It accommodates workpieces up to 75mm in depth and 120mm in width, making it suitable for cutting skirting boards, architraves, picture frames and timber mouldings. Two cam locking pegs securely clamp the workpiece in position during cutting, whilst a bench edge stop on the base prevents movement whilst sawing. For enhanced stability during demanding tasks, countersunk fastening holes allow the mitre box to be permanently fixed to a workbench if required.
