Well what do you pick as a diy??? This seemed to fit the bill went on well and finished off nice with a silicone tool, if it lasts a couple of years I’ll be happy. I’d recommend this it was was to work with.

Evo-Stik Trade Sanitary Silicone 280ml Clear seems reasonable only time will tell.
I needed to replace the old sealant behind the kitchen taps for the usual reasons. The old discoloured stuff was easily removed with a craft knife and a narrow-bladed wood-chisel; and when appleid this product went on and sealed the splashback tiling gap quickly. It was left all day to cure, so it has dried well. The product seems to be doing its job well.
