I purchased this to protect a laminate floor while I still had work to complete. It did the job well, although by the end of 2 weeks the ends needed taping down. This was probably my slow rate of progress rather than the product. I would buy again
If you want something that is incredibly hard to install and sticks to itself rather than to the floor, then buy this. Waste of money
Did not adhere to oak floor which was clean and dust free
Tricky to apply due to use of reverse side adhesive (sticky on the outside, not inside) which makes it frustrating to use sometimes, especially going parallel to door frames or around objects. Cleaning the floor is critical for this stuff to stick, i’d suggest a quick vac and damp mop, espeically around the perimeter areas. Any areas that i’d missed like under radiators etc would not stick down as the film just sticks to the dust instead, which is understandable. Retain the crinkly outer wrap, as you’ll want to use it again to cover the rest of the roll (remember it is sticky on the OUTSIDE). Lastly, by natural habit you’ll tend to put the roll down on the floor after cutting - DO NOT put the roll down! It will stick to floor and film you just laid and create a terrible mess. Stand it on its end or lean it againt a wall.
Lined it with a coloured liner to work as a path for my garden patio thus not causing any marking
Not sticky enough, laid on clean tiled floor but did not stay in place
Disappointed that this was not very 'sticky'. It barely gripped the floor unfortunately
Used to protect a newly tiled bathroom from plastering snots and dust. Sticks to tiled sufaces well, with no residue. Out performs old style dust sheet for this task as it is bonded to the surface. If using steps or heavy tools I would recommend using a hard protector over this as its not suitable for impact protection . Note the tack on this will not stick to carpet use the specific type for job. It is not reusable.
Poor adhesion to hard floor surface and slipped all over. Pointless.
Use on regular basis, as I do maintenance, it’s sticky and waterproof, hard to tear, long lasting
Great stuff! Easy to lay. Easy to remove. Leaves no marks
Fit for the job and not too expensive, easy to use
Easy to roll and protects required areas adequately.
Easy both to apply and remove. Protecting our new laminate floor
Very poor. Will not stick to new LVT. I suspect that carpet protector has better adhesion.
Wont bother with this stuff again, too fussy and not good quality
Carpet product does what it says with good adhesion and good wear properties. Hard surface product difficult to keep down and is prone to wrinkles. Both products expensive and should be cheaper.
Very happy with the product also Tool Station Service was great
the surface protector is exactly as advertised and was easy to fit to floor and so far working ideally
Great product, right amount of tackiness to allow you to complete works, better than dust sheets be it painting ,plastering.
