I bought this to replace a door lock that had broken. It works fine, although it would be helpful to have more detailed dimensions in the product description to make it easier to check whether it will fit. Finding a replacement lock as close as possible to the dimensions of the existing lock was my main criteria. It fitted with minimal fettling, so a positive result.
This is a cheap quality sashlock, priced too highly from here
