Perfect gear box fits in to the previous set cavity
Only gave one star, not because any fault of the lock, but I bought the wrong one thinking it was right . Alas it was totally wrong and I had to take it back.
As i said, sashlock is just ok quality, nothing special, its got nothing on the union one but is better designed as the latch doesn't have as much of a tendancy to jam when door fit is tight.(union's latch pulls out when pulling handle down if latch is tight against strike plate, latch in this lock does not pull out so it does not have this problem)
Easy to fit, and works well.
Well worth the money
This company has gone down in everyone’s estimation in the trade due to very poor or non existent stock levels never more than one item in stock
Your competitors are laughing at you
Just what I needed, tool station always have the right equipment.
Replace old 5 lever was easy and simple DIY task and lock smooth and good quality
The box is almost identical to the standard UK sash lock, ordered in error. This one has no Euro lock mechanism or keys ??? so you buy separately these separately doubling the cost. Exchanged it for the standard sash lock, used these before and they are great quality 100 times better than the ERA version.
A Direct replacement, good quality at a good price
Fire rated, Not tested in a fire and hope never have to!!
quality lock, well made and sturdy.would buy again.
Excel it’s job perfect 3 lever lock excellent lock
Sturdy well made package. Smooth operation and looks good too.
Always good and helpful service from all members of the staff at Aberdare branch.
This lock is an absolute nightmare to install. It was a replacement lock on a job we had. If you don’t get the faceplate bang on the latch sticks. If the latch goes in to far it gets stuck inside the lock body. Anyone needing to do multiple amounts of these locks I would suggest getting era or union ones instead or you will end up throwing them
Good quality well priced euro sashlock. Sturdy strike plate/keep.
I've used many a lock but this one Is the most frustrating. If you are just half a millimetre out with the plate that covers the lock once recessed into the door, the handles will bind and the sprung latch will get stuck. I purchased for the same price the Zoo brand and also found these easy to fit back in without a problem.
