Works but not top quality. Needed a 40 to 42 coupler.
I wish I had taken more notice from the reviews on this product. Getting a seal on this product was impossible........ not difficult, impossible!!
Bought this to fit my 1.5 bowl sink. Initially the flat trap design looks good, but closer inspection shows that this is likely to block your kitchen sink because the space for waste is so narrow. The screw fittings are tapered, which makes it hard to fit. The size doesn’t reach between the 2 sink wastes, which is ridiculous. Just another inch of the very cheap plastic would at least mean it could be used. Even if it did, I’d have. O confidence that the fittings wouldn’t leak. So save yourself the pain and give this product a miss. It will just waste your time. No pun intended.
This product was awful , and extremely cheaply made , the threads would not screw on to the wastes , they just popped off and the pipework was a very odd size , avoid , it was painful, I wasted so much time , I bought branded fittings and had it done in 20 minutes
Perfectly designed. Picture needs updating as there are so many other parts, pipes & joints to enable most installations.
As others have stated, the attachments do not fit properly to a standard sink connection and leak, no matter what I use to seal it with. The shallow trap seems to work well, so it is a shame. The parts just seem cheap and flimsy compared to other units
Item serves its purpose but the build quality could be better. The screws are tapered and hard to tighten up. They are also quite flexible so can slip when tight.
Shocking quality from as usually quality brand. Disappointing from Wirquin. Leaks from every joint - terrible quality fittings - thin plasticky washers, ill fitting threads. PTFE used on every joint, still leaks. The design means water sits in the horizontal pipe so the joints need to be well sealed - impossible with this quality. Why have they made it so cheap!!!?
Really good product make sure you use PTFE tape on the sink outlets
Purchased recently and found the product quality very poor, every joint has leaked when fitted to a kitchen sink even after applying PTFE tape to all threaded joints they continue to leak. Would not purchase again and will have to look for an alternative product.
Very good part should you wish not to loose space under your sink. Top tip though, use plumbers mate on the joints to prevent any leeks later. 👍🏻
This is the only low profile double sink waste that I could find on the market, if you have a need for such a thing it's a good design (mostly). I wish it was double the price and better finished. I had issues with leaks, the compression gaskets are small and some of the parts they seal onto have an imperfect finish from low quality injection moulding. I couldn't get them to seal without using Plumbers Mait.
The included extension allows you to connect it to a wide double bowl sink, or make up the height difference on a sink and a half. If you have sink that's both wide and a sink and a half like I did you'll need to buy an extension piece separately.
The outlet fits neither solvent or push fit 40mm UK pipe, there's an adapter included to make it work with solvent weld pipe, but this means the outlet pipe projects a lot further out than it really needs to. I could only make it work in the space I was working with by bringing it out forwards towards the cupboard doors, I would have preferred not to.
If your sink is wide within the cabinet you might also have a hard time connecting a hose to the appliance adapter, why isn't it angled? I ended up designing a 3D printing an angled connector (it's on Thingiverse if anyone else needs it).

Badly engineered and manufactured. Had to return as when I did stop it leaking I had no confidence in its integrity
Kitchen sink waste . Easy to fit , was very handy to use the rest of the space in unit
Bought to go under a double Belfast/butler sink where space is limited. Fantastic bit of kit which is so compact and neat. Even the customer said how little space was wasted. BUT - in this day and age it needs 2 waste spikes for a washing machine and a dishwasher. Had to add a secondary appliance waste - hence lost a star
Avoid at all costs, impossible to get this to seal. Redesign your kitchen cabinet and use a standard trap instead, you won’t regret it
Second time lucky. I had to return the first one because it kept leaking. Second one started to leak also, but with a little adjustment, it seems to be working fine now.
The design of this trap is great for limited spaces - BUT - the quality/manufacture of the parts isn’t great. I would advise to use PTFE tape (unlike Macalpine parts!) and not be too heavy handed (which I can be!)
That said - it’s fitted, not leaking and working fine - phew!!
Would I recommend- yes - but proceed with caution, hence the 4 stars.
Good price of kit however, it may get blocked quickly.
