These are quite short, so needed two positioned on each side of a top hung sash to allow for sufficient ventilation.
Bought this before the summer. Perfect device to keep the little ones safe. Still able to open the window a few inches but very secure and a child will NOT be able to force it.
Good, the screws aren't suitable for self tapping applications, and the white cover pieces need additional adhesive

Good product. Installed 4. Mostly easy to install, with good instructions. Good packaging. The installation problem is the sticky back covers for the screws. The main plate over the 3 screw connection was not quite the right shape, and I strongly disliked having to stick company branding on, especially in such a prominent position. I left the large covers off in the end, hence losing 1 star
Works well but instructions say use 2mm drill, - not possible into metal - you need a 3 mm drill minimum.
Also, the self tapping screws are too long for the window casing - you need to supply with slightly shorter screws

Great security device. Easily installed by a non DIY individual like me! Installed on 4 windows. Only tricky thing was getting the paper of the sticky covers to hide screws.

This item was exactly as described, very easy to fit and use. I fitted it to French doors so that the doors could be opened slightly for air flow but still had security.
